Benidorm Palace has produced the fines extravaganzas in Europe, and its seating capacity of over 1,500 has accommodated events such as the "Miss Spain" contest, the European Forum of the Arts, and dozens of congresses.

For the Wine lovers, Jalon Valley is a 15 minute drive from Calpe and is a very famous wine making district. Here you can sample wine from the selection of Bodegas (Wine Cellars) for free, before you decide to buy. Be careful though, some are very strong. Look out for the Hallelujah Bar where the owner has an intriguing party trick.
